Nigel Bunbury, CPA

As WorkOps' owner and CEO, Mr. Bunbury is a forward thinking CPA veteran with over 20 years of reporting, internal controls and financial systems experience. Mr. Bunbury has held roles on leadership teams at RioCan REIT, Royal Bank and GMP Capital and is committed to a high standard of excellence. Having graduated from McMaster University in 2000, Mr. Bunbury earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Accounting and Finance together with a scholarship for outstanding achievement and academic excellence. Mr. Bunbury began his career at KPMG and is a 2001 CPA. Today, Mr. Bunbury and his team of like-minded professionals are passionate about offering fully outsourced Wdesk best practices and implementation support that enables finance teams to quickly achieve enhanced, cost-effective reporting and disclosure.
Molly Cotter, CPA
Ms. Cotter is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of accounting, reporting and process improvement experience at multinational companies in the U.S. and Canada. A champion of change management and achieving efficiency, Ms. Cotter has implemented reporting systems at Canadian Tire Corporation and Emera Inc. and held senior finance roles at major U.S. companies, such as Cott Beverages. Ms. Cotter is considered a pioneer in end-user Wdesk model development and her technical expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. Ms. Cotter graduated from Mount Allison University in 2002 earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Double Major in Accounting and Economics. Ms. Cotter articled with PwC and is a 2004 CPA.
Tess Ng, CPA
Ms. Ng is a proven finance leader with over 13 years of financial reporting and accounting experience. Ms. Ng led the implementation of complex accounting standards at Indigo Books and Music, including the first-time adoption of IFRS. She has worked with both Hyperion and SAP and her accounting experience includes a broad range of areas including internal controls over financial reporting, consolidation, accounting for equity compensation plans, foreign currency hedging, process improvement, Canadian and U.S. taxation and not-for-profit reporting. Ms. Ng graduated from the University of Toronto in 2002 with High Distinction earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in English. Ms. Ng began her career with EY and is a 2008 CPA.
Julie Tran, CPA
Ms. Tran has over 9 years of progressive professional experience with public financial reporting in the mining industry. In her most recent role as Director, Financial Reporting at Golden Star Resources, she led the successful implementation of Wdesk, NetSuite and Solium. Utilizing Wdesk, she set up the company’s financial statements, MD&A, quarterly earnings releases and monthly internal reporting. She played a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline financial systems and processes. Julie is passionate about Wdesk, experiencing the first-hand benefits of real-time collaboration on turnaround time, accuracy and consistency. In addition to public financial reporting experience, she is experienced in Annual Information Forms, Management Information Circulars, and executive reporting. Julie earned her CPA designation in 2011 and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Guelph.
Ian Koepke, CPA
Mr. Koepke brings over 25 years of public reporting and accounting expertise to the team. Mr. Koepke supported many facets of RioCan REIT’s financial processes in the preparation of its external reporting documents. Mr. Koepke acted as the functional finance lead for the systems conversion and restructuring of the company's chart of accounts and the implementation of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). Ian is an extremely capable problem-solver and is able to translate complex business requirements into streamlined workflow solutions. In addition, Mr. Koepke has led teams in key roles, such as financial controllership and financial planning and analysis and draws on a wealth of operations finance knowledge from time served at Lafarge Canada. Ian graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1991 and earned his CPA designation with KPMG in 1993.
Ehren Hess, CPA
Mr. Hess is known for creating synergies using his business acumen and wealth of information systems knowledge, including Hyperion Financial Management, Solium, JD Edwards, Essbase, Wdesk and IFS. With over 13 years experience, Mr. Hess has established himself as a capable and effective problem-solver. In addition to being a valued member of Oxford Property Group’s financial reporting team, Mr. Hess led the first-time adoption of IFRS for several junior mining companies and helped implement reporting systems at Brookfield Asset Management and RioCan REIT. In addition to being a Wdesk expert, Mr. Hess specializes in streamlining ‘big data' and integrating accounting systems with Wdesk. Mr. Hess articled at BDO Dunwoody and is a 2010 CPA.
